This 2 piece outfit was made by Ideal back in the 50s for there Little Miss Revlon doll. This 2 piece outfit is called the CALYPSO skirt and blouse. The skirt is IDEAL TAGGED on the outside hip and the blouse is original Ideal but not tagged. The Ideal catalog number is 9116 if you would like to look it up. The top is a one piece gold cotton one piece bloomer that has Red and Yellow rick rack as well as white lace trim. The skirt is VERY PRETTY and made of black cotton with a floral and stripe all over design. The flowers are bright yellows and many different shades of pink and the rick rack trim is yellow and pink. The skirt has a attached green velvet belt that is flawed with creases and is missing velvet and the tag is on the outside hip. There is loose yellow rick rack that needs sewed back onto the top. I want to let you know that my book shows both these pieces but not together yet both have the same catalog number of 9116. This outfit is VERY COLORFUL and DISPLAYS NICELY so with one dollar to open and NO RESERVE a begining collector can get a chance to own a great but not mint outfit and ENJOY this set. It is odor and smoke free. This will also fit, Coty Girl, Nancy Ann, Jill, Jan, Suzette, Cindy and other 101/2 inch fashion dolls from that time period. I combine shipping and have LOTS of Ideal original Little Miss Revlon clothes for auction this week. The beautiful Little Miss Revlon who is the model for this dress is not included but is available in another auction so take a look at her too. Clean and smoke free.
