Vintage Madame Alexander Doll Original 17" Clean LOOK
I had this doll looked at when I was at a doll show and was told she was an old Madame ALexander Doll. Because she is not marked, I am not positive so I would welcome your comments.
I will describe her to the best of my ability. Please view all photos for better detail.
She is a beautiful hard plastic doll. Her face is spectacular. Perfect full top eyelashes, painted lower lashes. Clear blue eyes, and they open and shut freely. Perfect full red lips. She does have a slight rub on the tip of her nose which I was told is common. She also has a slight red tint on her knees which I was also told is common.
She has 3 tiny scratches on her right cheek, and a tiny knick on her chin.
I do not believe that her outfit is original but it is very cute. It is blue and white checked as shown. She wears black leather shoes with straps.
Her wig is perfect. Very soft and even has a hair net which has protected it over the years.
Her arms may need to be tightened just a tiny bit. Otherwise she is a very nice old doll. Her legs are nice
I acquired her from a serious doll collector who had an extensive collection of old dolls. THey are all clean, smoke and pet free. You will be thrilled with any of them.
A kind ebayer told me this is the Nancy Ann Style Show Doll. I checked her out with another and that is exactly who she is..This is a very rare and collectable doll. Good Luck Bidding
