This doll is a light red-head named Midge, or possibly a doll from Barbie and the Rockers from the mid 1980s. I'm not really sure how she was originally sold. She has the freckles and red hair that Midge is quite known for. Her strawberry blonde hair is rather crimped, and falls just past her shoulders, and has just a swirl of bangs. It is a little bit messy. The base of the back of her head has an imprint showing 1985 Mattel Inc, and Mattel Inc 1966 Malaysia is on the small of her back. She has been played with but is in nice condition. Her eyes are green with a pale purple shade of eye shadow. She has a closed-mouth smile, with soft pink lipstick. I believe she is considered to have the Diva face mold, with a sort of Mona Lisa smile. Her body twists at the waist. Her arms are bent, not hinged, at the elbow, and can lift up away from her body. She is wearing only one decorative earring and has a hole in the lobe of her left ear. Around her wrist is a bracelet of two hoops - a yellowish green and bright pink. These matcher her sleeveless high waist top and long shorts. She has no shoes. ~~ Hopefully the picture does her justice. She may be ideal for that special OOAK doll someone is creating, or for a doll to play with for someone three or older. Please note that all my loose items are sold on an ‘as is’ basis. I do my best to describe them as accurately as possible. Feel free to email me with any questions. I welcome you to view my other auction items at this category, as well as those at other entirely different ones. Buyer to pay all shipping handling costs, but shipping may be combined. ~~ My combined shipping policy is this: I weigh the entire package after you’ve finished bidding over a week's time (unless we agree ahead of time to a different time-frame). I estimate the shipping fee based on that weight and your zip code, using the USPS website. I add a $2 handling fee for the first item. I charge an additional $1 handling fee for each of the next 4 items to help recover fees, packaging gasoline. The handling fee is only .50 per item after the first 5 items are added. I ship using USPS Priority Mail, both locally and to Canada. The initial shipping/handling fee to Canada is $20.00 for up to three unboxed dolls, or similar small items. The initial fee is $25.00 for a boxed doll. If additional items are to be purchased, please contact me for an estimate. Thank you for looking.
