This auction is for an artist doll, "Princess Kimimi" by doll artists Lita Wilson and Frances Reedy. She was made for an UFDC regional meeting in 1977. She was made exclusively for meeting attendees. She is approximately 19 inches tall. She is made of porcelain and fabric. Her back is incised with her name, the artists and the date. She has a beautifully handpainted face. This doll came as a kit and the members had to put her together and dress her. The costume on this doll is fabulous. It appears to be made of super soft chamois leather with fringing and beadwork. She is wearing a black braided wig with a beaded headband. She has no damage - no hairlines, cracks, chips or repairs. She has a few stray hairs and her clothing has some lint from storage with other dolls. The lines on her face are stray hairs not damage. She is from a smoke free home and is completely odor free. She has no doll stand, box , or other accessories. Be sure to add this extra special - truly artist made doll to your collection today!!!! Please do not hesitate to ask questions prior to bidding.
