From a helpful collector-
hi your pretty dolly is meg from the little women series of the early 1950s, with her bangs and crown of braids and her hair pulled back. the dress belongs to marme of that series. marme had the margaret face, with darker hair, and no bangs at all, amy also had the margaret face, but no crown of braids. jo and beth had the maggie face. i have both the dolls and the dresses that belong to them with original tags, identifying the proper doll to dress them in, and 4 meg dolls with this hairdo, all original.
