The reason I listed this book in the antique wooden dolls category is because it is the story of the true Hitty (Mehitable) wooden doll. (find out more at http://www.hitty.org/. ) Written by Rachel Field, illustrated by Dorothy P. Lathrop. This is an electrotyped edition from 1942. In good condition with a strong spine/binding, but with some discoloration on the first pages.
